DESCRIPTION:Please join our upcoming community breakfast at Commonwealth Terrace Cooperative Community Center on Dec 28!  It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy delicious food\, great company\, and thought-provoking conversation. \n\n\n\nThis month\, we’ll be discussing “Simple Steps to Prevent Foodborne Illness at Home.” Our guest speaker is Amritha Ajayan\, who is a Ph.D. student at the University of Minnesota. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nShe graduated with a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine from India and completed her master’s in animal science at UMN. Her research focuses on foodborne pathogens like Salmonella\, where she works on finding natural and innovative ways to improve poultry health and reduce foodborne outbreaks. \n\n\n\nCome ready to learn\, share your experiences\, and connect with others. We’ll also have a wonderful breakfast spread awaiting you! Feel free to contribute to our potluck-style breakfast by bringing a dish or beverage to share with the group. DESCRIPTION:Turkic Culinary Journey: Season Four – Discover the Flavors of a Rich Heritage \n\n\n\nWelcome back to the fourth season of our popular Turkic Cooking Classes\, where we invite you to embark on another exciting gastronomic adventure through the diverse and delectable cuisines of the Turkic world! \n\n\n\nIn our Turkic Culinary Journey series\, we celebrate the rich and vibrant culinary traditions that span across Turkic-speaking regions\, including Turkey\, Turkmenistan\, Kazakhstan\, Kyrgyzstan\, Uzbekistan\, and many more. Building on the success of our first two seasons\, we’re thrilled to take you on an even more captivating journey into the heart of Turkic cuisine. \n\n\n\nOur Turkic Cooking Classes are designed for food lovers of all skill levels\, from beginners to experienced home cooks. Whether you’re seeking to expand your culinary repertoire or simply enjoy a delightful cultural experience\, these classes are perfect for you. The fourth season of Turkic Culinary Journey sessions will be held first Sunday of each month. At the end of each class\, we will enjoy the wonderful dishes we have made together. \n\n\n\nSession 42 (March 1) — Kofteli corba\, sucuklu kuru fasulye\, and bulgur pilavi \n\n\n\nParticipation fee is $40 per person/session. Tickets are limited\, so please make sure to reserve your spot early.
