No cooking experience is required! \n\n\nThe Turkish American Society of Minnesota is excited to announce that Cooking Classes resumed on Sunday\, September 4 at 2:00 pm. We meet on the first Sundays of each month. \nIn these classes\, you’ll have a chance to learn Turkic recipes from our instructors who specialize in the particular cuisine. At the end of each class\, we will be enjoying the wonderful dishes we have made together. Thanks to those who joined the first six cooking classes at TASMN. We had wonderful sessions! \nRegistration is open for the upcoming session. We will have \n\nSession 7 (March 5) — Maklube and Keskul\n\nThe participation fee is $35 per person/session. \nPlease make your reservations as we have limited spots available. Please rsvp through Eventbrite to reserve your spot. \n\n\n\nLove Is A Verb documentary is an examination of a social movement of Sufi-inspired Muslims that began in Turkey in the 1960s and now reaches across the globe. SUMMARY:Bake Sale for Earthquake Victims
DESCRIPTION:On February 6th\, a catastrophic series of earthquakes rocked southern Turkey and northwestern Syria\, causing widespread devastation with over 36\,000 fatalities. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake and its aftershocks reduced huge swaths of towns and cities to mountains of broken concrete and twisted metal. It is a difficult time for those who have lost their loved ones. We extend our sincerest condolences to all those who have been affected by the earthquake. Our hearts and prayers are with all them during this difficult time.  \n\n\n\nIn response to this tragedy\, the Turkish American Society of Minnesota is taking action and inviting you to our bake sale to remember the victims and show our support. No matter how small\, your help can make a significant impact on the lives of those affected by this disaster. \n\n\n\nWe would also appreciate it if you could share this fundraising event with your friends and network. The more support we can gather\, the greater the impact we can have.
