DESCRIPTION:Join cooking classes with talented chefs! Learn and enjoy Turkish\, Turkmen\, Kazakh\, and Ozbek recipes! No cooking experience is required! \n\n\nThe Turkish American Society of Minnesota is excited to announce that Cooking Classes resumed on Sunday\, September 4 at 2:00 pm. We meet on the first Sundays of each month. \nIn these classes\, you’ll have a chance to learn Turkic recipes from our instructors who specialize in the particular cuisine. At the end of each class\, we will be enjoying the wonderful dishes we have made together. Thanks to those who joined the first six cooking classes at TASMN. We had wonderful sessions! \nRegistration is open for the upcoming session. We will have \n\nSession 7 (March 5) — Maklube and Keskul\n\nThe participation fee is $35 per person/session. \nPlease make your reservations as we have limited spots available. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about women in our lives and discover ways to empower them worldwide. While recognizing the achievements and contributions of famous figures from a historical perspective\, we believe we have everyday heroes that move among us all of the time! They may be the  \n\n\n\n\n           – mothers who care for their children \n\n\n\n           – sisters who love \n\n\n\n           – wives who manage to juggle both a career and a family. \n\n\n\n           – daughters who serve  \n\n\n\n           – aunts who care  \n\n\n\n           – friends who trust  \n\n\n\n           – leaders who dream\, achieve\, and win \n\n\n\n           – volunteers who work tirelessly to support people  \n\n\n\n           – educators that leave their own children every day to teach others. \n\n\n\n          – women who work to make the whole thing happen each day at home \n\n\n\n\n. \n\n\n\nSo\, this Women’s Month 2023\, let’s reach out to thank at least ONE woman during March which has been set aside to honor those who have sacrificed so our society could move forward. \n\n\n\nThis event is for ladies only and it’s free. However\, donations to our organization for earthquake victims would be greatly appreciated.
