Love is a Verb

February 26, 2023 @ 2:30 pm

Dinner and documentary screening

You’re cordially invited to join us for a dinner and the “Love is a Verb” documentary screening on February 26th at 2:30 pm. This is a chance to hear more about the importance of spreading love and dialogue among people with differing beliefs and traditions. The event is free, but donations to TASMN or “Emergency Relief for the Earthquake Victims of Turkey and Syria” would be greatly appreciated. Please rsvp through Eventbrite to reserve your spot.

Love Is A Verb documentary is an examination of a social movement of Sufi-inspired Muslims that began in Turkey in the 1960s and now reaches across the globe. The group is called Hizmet, the Turkish word for service, or The Gulen Movement after its inspiration, leader, and beloved teacher Fethullah Gulen, a man that Time Magazine named one of the most influential leaders in the world in 2013.

We look forward to seeing you there.
